Things that have made me ridiculously happy in the past 24 (more or less) hours:
- Hetalia Day 2009 with my dork friends
- Seeing the Astro Boy movie immediately afterward with said dork friends
- Szayel's dub voice fffffff
- The answer to the New York Times acrostic (if you've done it you'll know why)
Also, I have been playing Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia a whole lot lately. (And I still have to actually pay Momo for it at some point. ._.;;) I really like this game. It's not a "true" Pokémon game, sure, but it's gotten me to care about the storyline and characters more than any other Pokémon game's done. And the writing is hilarious. If any Pokémon fans out there are looking for something to occupy themselves while waiting for HG/SS, you could really do a lot worse. |

I like Vampire Knight a whole lot. It takes it in turns to be really pretty and really adorable. Here is some of the stuff volume 6 contains:
- Canon straight romance (shocking)
- Canon gay romance (Aido's thing for Kaname is adorable)
- Subtexty lesbian romance (SOMEONE FIC YUKI/YORI NOW PLEASE PLEASE)
- Actual more girls
- Absurdly pretty hair
- Way-too-adorable kids
- Stupidly attractive administrators
- Amnesia
- Hot 19th century fashions*
- Unusually deep feelings
- A situation involving a heterochromic child with paralyzing kiss powers which may or may not all be an elaborate plot to get close to a girl
* It's no coincidence that all the hot presidents came from the 19th century.
Also I got Scribblenauts. It is a fun game if you have an imagination. And yes, the first thing I attempted to write was "Rickroll". (Spoiler: it works.) |

It's recently come to my attention what an embarrassing percentage of my thoughts is spent on attractive fictional-type guys. Which maaay not be the best thing to write about now that I have an attractive real-type boyfriend who reads this thing. So, uh, let's see what else is floating around in my head.
Okay, how about some brief thoughts on Bleach 224? ( So brief they don't even warrant a cut. )
Stuff got long, so have cuts for the rest too. ( This one is about Bleach also. )

I just realized that I accidentally leveled my Pichu way beyond where he would actually learn any good moves as a Pikachu. And he's still not happy enough. I GOT YOU A MASSAGE, SATO YOU STUPID JERK. >:| Does anyone who knows Pokémon know if he's beyond hope at this point and I should get a new one? (He's level 30.) Or any good ways to make him happy quickly? I want a Pikachu. :| |

I beat TWEWY (the first playthrough, anyway). Just throwing that out there. Also everyone should get that game. It's good and awesome. Maybe a little short, but good and awesome.

I've been having some thoughts recently - a rare occurrence - so I decided to commemorate it with an LJ post. An LJ post about my newest fandoms.
( So the other day I got The World Ends With You. )
So, a couple questions. First, O.A., are we still on for Ness and Lucas? Because if so, we'd better get cracking, considering Anime Boston's getting closer every month. If not, well...
And second, is there a site like Court Records for TWEWY? You know, a complete repository with all the sprites and artwork and everything? I do know there's a wiki, and that might be what I'm looking for, but I could only take a perfunctory look so as not to avoid spoilers. If there's a better site, someone let me know.
I've also recently begun reading Vampire Knight, and, inevitably, I happened to spot a few similarities with a certain other popular vampire series that shall not be named. However, I'm pleased to report that the comparison is ( favorable to Vampire Knight. )

... because a minute to look up my homework ends up becoming two and a half hours reading the Super Smash Bros. kink meme.
(Yes, I know what it sounds like, but the stuff in there is surprisingly decent for a kink meme. Like half of it is just fluff, it's great. Also, there is a SAMUS/SNAKE BODYSWAP FFFFFFFFFF)
And I guess while I'm linking things, have an awesome video. Even though I'm pretty sure this song was actually created specifically for use in this video, it still has so much untapped AMV potential, seriously. For instance, I am shocked - shocked, I tell you - that no one has made one about Pegasus. I'M THUPER, THANKS FOR ASKING~~~

Okay, so. Tobias is blond. It says so every time they describe him as a human, and the descriptions don't vary too much between books. Blond and really messy hair, right? So, why come on every single one of his book covers, the model is a brunette? And Christopher Ralph was cute and all, but he had brown hair too. So thanks to them, I've only just realized that I've been going around with the wrong mental image of the guy for years now. D:
Also: why are the two most attractive women in Harvest Moon: Rune Factory ineligible? I would totally marry either Sabrina or Lady Ann (or both :P), but apparently because they have kids, they're off-limits. But they're single! ...D: I guess I'll keep trying my hand with Tabatha. Not like I have any friendship or love points with her or anyone else in the town, of course. I give people fish every day - what's a guy gotta do? Is it 'cause my name's in all caps? D:
Spell check thinks "Sabrina" should be "Serbian". Interesting.
