And of course I start watching Bleach again the week after the last Szayel episode before the filler arc. :| I watched it anyway, but mainly for Halibel and her hot Fracción. Mira Rose's voice is a thing of beauty. *_* Now, off to find the Szayel episodes on YouTube.
Yes, I know it's "Mila Rose". It's also "Harribel". (And "Sanderwicci".) Don't make me give up on my dreams, okay? D:
Also, I didn't think it was possible, but I may have found a Disney dub to rival Norwegian Tarzan: European Spanish Nightmare Before Christmas. I am seriously considering buying this CD. I haven't even seen the whole thing in English yet. :|
While we're on the subject, had an incredibly trippy Kingdom Hearts dream last night. I really need to lay off that game for a while. |

Things that have made me ridiculously happy in the past 24 (more or less) hours:
- Hetalia Day 2009 with my dork friends
- Seeing the Astro Boy movie immediately afterward with said dork friends
- Szayel's dub voice fffffff
- The answer to the New York Times acrostic (if you've done it you'll know why)
Also, I have been playing Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia a whole lot lately. (And I still have to actually pay Momo for it at some point. ._.;;) I really like this game. It's not a "true" Pokémon game, sure, but it's gotten me to care about the storyline and characters more than any other Pokémon game's done. And the writing is hilarious. If any Pokémon fans out there are looking for something to occupy themselves while waiting for HG/SS, you could really do a lot worse. |

On the bright side, the voices are perfect, especially Dondochakka's. At least we finally got to hear Szayel, whose voice I am going to marry, kthx. :B |

Apparently I have some internet on this vacation. I must use these powers for good!
...And by good I apparently mean whining about Shonen Jump. Eh, close enough.
So, SPHFWLKaiB finally showed up in Bleach. You can probably imagine my reaction. But. Butbutbut. They spelled his name as one word - Szayelaporro, like that. I know that's probably closer to the original, and since the speech bubbles are so narrow it shows up as hyphenated anyway, which is almost like two words. So I really have no reason to be upset about this. But idk, man, I just think it looks dumb. Some other spellings they have that bug me are "Nnoitora" (I know it's not that different, but still) and (are you ready for this one?) "Cirucci Sanderwicci". Sanderwicci? What is she, a BLT? Dude, "Thunderwitch" is possibly the coolest last name ever. You can't screw that up. D: You know what, I think I am just going to be one of those people I hate who ignores canon and spells people's names however she darn well pleases. Like heck I'm giving up "Thunderwitch".
While I'm here, I suppose I should say something briefly about the other mangas in Shonen Jump. Because I can.
Naruto: I really like how Naruto calls Yondaime "Pa". They could have gone with "Dad" so easily, but I like "Pa" better. It gives him character. And it's cute. Pain was a cute kid.
One Piece: Nami/Vivi is so canon. Mr. 2 Bon-chan is amazing.
Ultimo: O.A. must love this series. There is no way Jealousy is a boy.
Yu Yu Hakusho: Natsume is surprisingly attractive. I like seeing all those people from forever ago.
Tegami Bachi: I would probably like this series better if the people didn't have such stupid names. Two words: Jiggy Pepper. Niche makes it worth reading, though. She's great. Also I like the term "Letter Bee". Reminds me of Smellerbee. Or Linda Ellerbee.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: I don't care.

Ponyo's hot dad is so hot that my bookmark folder for him contains only 8 fewer pages than my one for SPHFWLKaiB. Which is quite a feat. Although I don't generally go specifically looking for pictures of SPHFWLKaiB, and there are a lot more likely to be multiple pictures of him to a page. So I guess it's not that impressive. And yes, I know I am probably the only person who thinks Ponyo's hot dad is hot. Whatever. He has nice hair.

Don't you hate it when you're rereading fanfics you used to like years ago, and it turns out they're filled with gratuitous fangirl Japanese? Yeah, me too.
Almost directly related, in my youth I had a crush on Vegeta for a time, and afterwards I could never remember what it was I saw in him. Well, I just figured it out: Chris Sabat's voice. Seriously, compare. 1999 version (which, yes, is Chris Sabat, but imitating Brian Drummond)? Thoroughly unattractive, actually kinda freaky. 2007 version? INSTANT HOTNESS *_*. *goes off to watch more DBZ*
Also, another hot guy topic (look at me actually connecting my random stuff, whee). Serious question here: why does everyone hate Szayel so much? ( This cut contains SPHFWLKaiB-related whining. )

The reason I haven't been posting for a while is because I didn't want to post until I did that meme... and then... I didn't do that meme ._.;;; I WILL DO IT EVENTUALLY HONESTLY SOME OF THOSE QUESTIONS ARE HARD
Basically, I just... Bleach 200 came out the other day and... how wrong is it that I find Szayel's begging/pleading while he's waiting to die completely hot? Especially the "hayaku hayaku hayaku" bit. (Refer to this video if necessary.) Seriously? The guy's been waiting an infinite number of centuries to finally get stabbed in the heart, he's begging to hurry up and die already and all I can think is "man, that's hot?" That's just... messed up.
I just wish I knew what Mayuri was saying to him afterwards. From my limited knowledge of Japanese, I've gathered it's something about having multiple slow-motion sexy makeouts, but I could be wrong. ^^;;
... Is that blue stuff his hair?
Okay, let's talk about something else. So the other day I thought finally logging onto Gaia after a year and a half would be fun. It was not. It was lonely, mainly because I only have one friend who goes on anymore. I know some of you guys used to be on there - any lapsed Gaians willing to start up again? It'll be an ~*~adventure~*~!
Also I got Animal Crossing: City Folk, someone Wi-Fi with me sometime.

The thing about Degrassi is that it's Canadian. Which is excellent, but the accent can throw you off. When they're in the middle of a dramatic scene and someone goes "You don't know what you're talking aboot" or "I'm soarry", you have to pause and go "oh they're Canadian lol" and then get back into the scene. No, but seriously, Degrassi is a great show and I totally have a crush on Rick. :\

What a week, what a week. Within the space of five days, the threesome 4/6/8 (Cubone/Jaromír Jágr/SPHWFLKaiB - that's Ulquiorra/Grimmjow/Szayel (from Bleach) to you) was created and shot down. Everyone seems to think it doesn't make any sense. Even Usa-chan, its creator, seems to have abandoned it in favor of 4/6, and I am left shipping it all alone. And it's not just my insane fangirlness for SPHWFLKaiB (which, incidentally, stands for "Sexy Pink-Haired Fellow Who Licks Knives and is Bespectacled") talking - I actually think it does work better than any of its permutations on their own. Or maybe it's just hotter. Of course, given my unfamiliarity with most of Bleach, my friends are probably right. Oh well, whatever.
Okay, guess how many amounts of homework I have this weekend. Okay? Ready? None, sucker! *booyah*
What is it with me and missing my LJ-versary? Sheesh. Just pretend it was today.
Tyma had the idea that I should type up this old Star Wars fic I wrote forever ago for a homework assignment. She said I should post it on FF.net, but since I don't have an account there, maybe when I'm done I'll post it here. Possibly.
The official video for my favorite T.M. Revolution song (out of the ones I know, which is one), "madan ~Der Freischutz~", got taken down from YouTube. *sad face* Well, at least there are still a couple live ones and AMVs I can watch. On the plus side, I realized that the Cotton-Eye Joe dance fits that song really well. A bit too well, maybe.
