First of all, LESS THAN 24 HOURS TILL AB. *hyperventilates* Although I'm not really the most excited right now 'cause I realized I spent a fair amount of time/money on my costumes and they're pretty crappy. Oh well. Costumes are done except Light's shoes, btw. On the plus side, there'll be another Death Note photoshoot on Sunday (although... it may be during Cosplay Chess), and we have a team for Hyakunin Kuizu, which I've never done before, so if we get in, that should be cool. :B
Okay, something else. I just found out that Jian Ghomeshi (formerly of Moxy Früvous (which is a good band, btw; check them out if you like Barenaked Ladies)) is such a cutie. I mean, look at the guy. He's like Zach Braff if someone injected cuteness into him. Also, you know who else famous person is attractive? Johannes Brahms. For serious. (When he was younger, anyway.) Stop being so cute, famous dead composers. :|
Also, I just found out that Ash Ketchum's name in French is Sacha. For some reason that's really cute. |

I was going to make this part of a larger post, because I'm pretty sure no one cares, but then I realized that I had nothing else to post. So, uh, Lucas is out for AB and Tenho is in. Lucas's shirt was pretty impossible to find anyway (somehow ;A;), so this is probably for the best. I can find all Tenho's stuff on Amazon or probably in a store and he doesn't even need a wig. ~*~*~LAZY COSPLAY~*~*~
Ummm. So yeah.

I've been having some thoughts recently - a rare occurrence - so I decided to commemorate it with an LJ post. An LJ post about my newest fandoms.
( So the other day I got The World Ends With You. )
So, a couple questions. First, O.A., are we still on for Ness and Lucas? Because if so, we'd better get cracking, considering Anime Boston's getting closer every month. If not, well...
And second, is there a site like Court Records for TWEWY? You know, a complete repository with all the sprites and artwork and everything? I do know there's a wiki, and that might be what I'm looking for, but I could only take a perfunctory look so as not to avoid spoilers. If there's a better site, someone let me know.
I've also recently begun reading Vampire Knight, and, inevitably, I happened to spot a few similarities with a certain other popular vampire series that shall not be named. However, I'm pleased to report that the comparison is ( favorable to Vampire Knight. )

Overall, I don't think I had quite as much fun as last year, but that may just be because the novelty's worn off somewhat. :( But not quite as much as really really awesome is...still pretty darn awesome. :D |

For those of you who found yourselves wanting more after reading the Deathly Hallows epilogue and haven't found it: I've found an interview with Jo that explains a lot, including stuff from earlier books. ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) littleyuzu, she of theofficepuffs, recapped it here, and there's also a link to the interview itself. Figured I'd put that out there.
In other news, the Hare Hare Yukai dancers for this year's talent show have been finalized: Raven, Usa-chan, HG, O.A., and myself as Haruhi, Yuki, Mikuru, Kyon, and Itsuki, respectively. So yeah, some crossplay (both kinds), some stuff, it's all cool. If anyone is around around March or whatever you may want to check it out. Of course, that's assuming I can learn the dance by then. :P

As in, "Oh cwap, I fell down the stairs." yes, it is one word. sthu Usa-chan.
So Kabuto-kun is a leap year baby, eh? Just like Hani-sempai. I didn't know they had anything in common. Wow, that's...sorta creepy.
As you may have noticed, Anime Boston is getting closer, and I have made absolutely zero progress on my proposed Rock Lee costume. That's partly because I'm not sure where to start. I know several of you out there are veteran cosplayers - anyone got any tips for a first-timer?
And because I need something to rant about: I'M GOING TO BED TOO LATE. RANT RANT RANT. |

Seriously. Thing. It. Best. Anime Boston. W00t. I bought a shirt and some stuff at the art auction and a sketch of Kurama. What was really awesome was just having all these people who were just as crazy as us all in one place. Bonded over a common interest. Or somethin'.
Next year I want to do it right. You know, go the whole weekend, and everyone comes, and we all cosplay, and maybe do a skit or something. I should start planning my costume. I wanna be Lee.
So...I'm at Tyma's now and we're doing...stuff we do at Tyma's.
